CNG fueling systems

Hydraulic boosters for fueling and trailer transfer

A hydraulic cylinder pushes the gas instead of a crankshaft. That one change gives variable suction tolerance, unlimited start and stop cycles, fewer wear parts and quiet operation. One containerized fueling station and three NuPresto booster packages, all up to 4,200 psig.

Mobile CNG Fueling System

Mobile CNG Fueling System

20-ft ISO container with the 125 HP, 2-stage NuPresto B120 hydraulic booster, optional cascade storage, Coriolis metering, PLC and HMI. Turnkey trailer-to-vehicle fueling anywhere a trailer can park.

  • Up to 4,200 psig
  • About 690 SCFM average
  • Single or dual booster

CNG delivery

Pressure reduction, trailers and compressor-free CNG

Everything between the compressor and the customer's meter.

PRS-G8000 pressure reduction system on its trailer

Pressure Reduction Systems

Glycol bath (PRS-G) for high-volume continuous duty, catalytic (PRS-C) for compact flame-free sites, electric (PRS-E) where open flame is excluded. 360 to 8,000 MSCF/d, trailer gas up to 4,200 psig.

  • PRS-G8000 flagship
  • Glycol, catalytic or electric
  • 360 to 8,000 MSCF/d

VPT-64 virtual pipeline trailers

Virtual Pipeline Trailers

VPT-64 behind a standard pickup, VPT-128 behind a Class 8 tractor. Type IV cylinders at 4,000 psig with integrated 2-stage PRS and catalytic heater, so the trailer delivers site-ready gas on its own.

  • 64,000 or 128,000 SCF
  • 5 to 50 psig out
  • 1 to 15 MSCF/hr

ZeroHP CNG process diagram

ZeroHP CNG

Compressor-free CNG production from high-pressure wells. Wellhead pressure does the work: separation, gas selection and molecular drying straight into the tube trailer. Fills the largest trailer in under an hour.

  • Up to 15 MMSCFD
  • No compressor
  • Patent pending

Ancillary equipment. Two-lane CNG tube trailer fill posts rated up to 10 MMSCFD per lane with integrated controls and grounding, CNG dryers, fuel gas conditioning and custom skids are engineered to order. Ask engineering.

LNG liquefaction

Micro-scale LNG, sized for the site

Three liquefaction platforms in the 19 to 50 tonne-per-day class, chosen by feed pressure, power cost and schedule. µSMR is offered through NuCryo, our joint venture with Crosstrails Engineering.

mLNG

Feed gas refrigerant, turbo-expander cycle. No external refrigerant. 25 TPD pre-fabricated, under 150 kWh per tonne with a 600 psig plus letdown. Best where a pressure letdown already exists: city gates and regulator stations. The cycle that has run at Port Allen since 2017.

mLNG

µSMR

Single mixed refrigerant, about 25 TPD per unit at under 500 kWh per tonne. Two truckable skids. Best for high-pressure pipeline feed where power cost dominates and in hot ambient. By NuCryo.

µSMR Micro LNG

NuPresto LNG

Feed gas refrigerant with no expander, no brazed aluminum exchanger and no mixed refrigerant. About 19 TPD at roughly 800 kWh per tonne, the lowest capital of the three and a liquefier on site in 6 to 8 months.
